Creating an Inclusive Community

Cultural inclusion is designed to enhance transparency between language, values, beliefs and cultural differences. It is a process of learning about each other's history, traditions and perspectives. A culturally inclusive community strives to mutually respect each person’s identity and has the ability to accept and celebrate the diversity of others.

Diversity is not just about race, ethnicity or gender but also includes age, sexual orientation, religion, education and abilities. Diversity training can help an organization realize the importance of cultural inclusion in the workplace. It allows employees to develop an awareness of their own culture and how it may differ from other cultures in the workplace. This training can help employees see the benefits of cultural inclusion in the workplace and how it can improve productivity, employee satisfaction and customer service.
